| Bitcoin 2022 was an event in a league of its own. Early conferences attracted at most dozens of people, mainly cryptographers, where tickets could even be given away for free and many went unclaimed. The Bitcoin Conference has changed attracted more than 25,000 people.
This has been the largest Bitcoin event in history, exploring the technological advancements, financial empowerment and countercultural influence that surrounds this open-source technology. Meet BTrust’s Abubakar Nur Khalil, Africa’s Bitcoin Innovation Savior
By Dawdu M. Amantanah Abubakar Nur Khalil is a young African and Bitcoin Core developer. At just 19 years of age, he taught himself the programming skills necessary to contribute to the Bitcoin improvement process and his incredible dedication to the development of the Bitcoin core makes Africa the continent with the highest number of contributions.
In 2020, he co-founded Recursive Capital, a venture capital that provides crypto-focused startups with seed and early-stage investments aiming to contribute to the development of the Web 3.0 ecosystem and just recently, he was appointed as member of the BTrust board, Jack Dorsey’s new endowment to fund Bitcoin development.
Having such a young and gifted mind working for the development and improvement of the fairest monetary system that has ever existed and based in the continent with the most financial obstacles is a substantial victory in favor of hyperbitconization. |

How Taro Brings Assets To Bitcoin Through Taproot And Lightning
By Namcios Lightning Labs recently introduced a new protocol proposal for Bitcoin and Lightning Network, Taro. This new protocol seeks to bring new use cases to the network, leveraging the latest protocol's upgrade, Taproot.
Taro would enable the issuance of assets and collectibles on Bitcoin as well as their transfer on Lightning without bloating the blockchain. All this in a private and secure manner as it does not requires key reuse which normally exposes the user's balance
The author describes in detail how Taro works and how it represents a major leap in progress for the network.
