| US stocks are set to take a step back at the open with futures down in the premarket. Index futures are weak ahead of the opening bell after the Dow crossed the 35,000 mark to set a new record high on Friday. Dow contracts are down about 0.4%, and S&P 500 contracts are down 0.3%. Bitcoin's Back? Bitcoin spiked to as high as $39,000 on Coinbase overnight in a dramatic rebound from its recent woes. Some investors speculate that Amazon may be preparing to jump into the crypto market, but there's hasn't been any concrete news on that front. Earnings Szn Earnings season is hitting its stride this week with several major companies release reports, including tech stalwarts like Microsoft, Apple, and Tesla.
