A report from Bloomberg suggests that Bitcoin could hit the $28,000 mark again in 2020. In its latest report, the site suggests that gold and Bitcoin remain their top candidates to advance during the year, which has been fueled by COVID-19 and a shift away from paper money.
Revolut told staff to quit or be fired
The fintech startup has reportedly told its staff to quit or be fired as it undergoes cost-saving measures amid COVID-19. Revolut enables the buying, selling, and holding of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. According to the report from Wired, the company has asked more than 50 Polish and Portuguese workers to quit since the pandemic first broke out.

Crypto-friendly travel booking platform Travala has reported booking growth as demand for travel returns despite continued coronavirus crisis and extended lockdowns in many places. Its booking revenue in May soared 205% and 60% of all bookings were paid with cryptocurrencies.

An entire Picasso artwork has been sold for cryptocurrency. The work, "Danse du ventre devant homme impassible," was bought by luxury asset firm Idoneus. The Idoneus token, IDON, has also been used to buy high-value assets including property and diamonds.
