Bitcoin, Tether And Poking The Financial Beast By Shinobi In this very well written piece of text, the author tells the story of Tether, a company established in 2014 with the intention of having all the benefits of the Bitcoin network but without the volatility. Tether has managed to become a useful tool for businesses and individuals so that they can operate beyond the rails of banking — and as a consequence, it has is seen as a problem by certain organizations. Tether has seen unreasonable regulations not applicable to digital assets, extreme banking pressure, seized accounts and multiple banking relationships gone wrong. Tether has been subjected to all sorts of coercion for years. It’s gotten to the point that, nowadays, Tether, the company and thus the asset, operates with an extreme risk profile and is on the verge of collapsing — not because of fraudulent or shady behavior, but because it has been forced into that corner. |

Bill Introduced To Make Bitcoin A Legal Tender In Arizona By Namcios Senator Wendy Rogers, a Senator from the Republican party, has introduced a bill that would bitcoin a legal tender in the U.S. state of Arizona. The bill focuses on "Bitcoin," differentiating it from the rest of the cryptocurrencies, — it describes allowing the freedom to transact with and store wealth in an incorruptible form of money — Bitcoin. If the bill goes through, it would mean: Bitcoin becomes legal tender for the second time after El Salvador' Bitcoin would be exempt from property taxes Bitcoin nodes would be protected from being considered money transmitters. With Texas also pushing forward on this front, the idea of having bitcoin as legal tender in a U.S. state or in another country after El Salvador, doesn't seem so far fetched now. |

By Bitcoin Magazine Mainstream media has repeatedly called bitcoin dead these past few weeks. Well there are many of us willing to sink with the ship. Bitcoin is freedom, and if bitcoin fails, freedom fails. "HODLers" create the floor when it comes to its price support, and we are only growing in numbers. Take that, MSM. Stack harder. With love, Bam |
