For too long this country has failed its Black women, Patrice Peck writes in her first essay with MSNBC Daily. It's especially offensive when you consider how much Black women have done for this country. In the cases of both Megan Thee Stallion and FKA twigs, their first instinct was to protect the man who hurt them. Honestly, isn't it time for someone to protect them?
