Bdna, a forensic case management software business whose clients include state and federal police departments, is making the rounds with private equity players, Street Talk understands.

Investor sources said bdna’s chief executive Ryan Sheppard is busy gauging investor appetite as he weighs strategic options and eyes international expansion.

While no formal process has been announced, Street Talk understands Ad Astra has been called in to facilitate meetings between Sheppard and several technology partners, on and offshore, and run a strategic review.
