A controversial former secretary of the public school teacher's union is behind a push for educators to join a "new union" promising cheaper fees and better outcomes for members. The man resigned from the education union three years ago after sexual harassment allegations came to light, claims which he strenuously denies. Last week, some teachers and school leaders in the ACT received an email from the man in his new role urging them to join the Teachers Professional Association. Sarah Lansdown has the story.
