Healthgrades names Bon Secours a top 50 hospital

Bon Secours St. Francis Health System’s two hospitals have been recognized as the best in South Carolina by Healthgrades. The organization’s Greenville hospitals include St. Francis Downtown and St. Francis Eastside.

Plans shared for Whitehorse Road improvements

 The S.C. Department of Transportation is conducting a meeting from Feb. 27 so the public can see and comment on plans for safety improvements proposed for a long stretch of Whitehorse Road in Greenville. Details on proposed project as it has been developed so far is available on the department’s website.

Coast Guard commandant to discuss port investments

 Coast Guard commandant Adm. Karl Schultz is expected to announce Coast Guard investments in the Port of Charleston in his State of the Coast Guard address Thursday at the Charleston Cruise Terminal.
