HOW DOES THE SMART POT WORK? |

AIR PRUNES ROOTS:
When the plant’s roots grow to the side of the Smart Pot, they entangle in the fabric making contact with the air. This air contact causes the roots to desiccate, or dry, losing its apical dominance, and initiating side branching or lateral root growth. This process creates and fills the Smart Pot with an abundance of healthy, fibrous roots. |

DISTRIBUTION OF
MOISTURE & NUTRIENTS:
Porosity is the key to increased distribution of moisture. The Smart Pot enhances the soil permeability of your mix, increasing the capillary movement of moisture from wet areas to dry areas.
