This year we're asking for 600-800 words that must include the phrase 'and then it happened' somewhere in the story. Your story can be set anywhere and about anything as long it's true, vivid, and makes us feel like we've seen the place with our own eyes. The extraordinary prizes include:
- A fantastic break for two in Portugal, courtesy of Wexas and TAP Air Portugal.
- A commission to write an article about your trip for Wexas Traveller magazine
- An invitation to the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Awards ceremony in February
- A place on the next Bradt Travel Writing Seminar
