3M has named William Brown its new CEO, effective May 1.
The manufacturing giant appointed the former CEO of defense contractor L3Harris Technologies as its new head, replacing Michael Roman. Roman will take on the role of executive chairman.
The change comes as 3M continues to navigate structural overhauls, a $10.3 billion settlement over PFAS contamination claims and the spin-off of its healthcare business.
