| The Food and Drug Administration authorized a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use in people over age 65 and those at high risk of severe illness. The specifics of who should receive the extra shot will be pinned down by advisers to the CDC, who will meet Thursday. |
