The judge presiding over Donald Trump’s hush money case in New York denied the former president’s request to delay the upcoming trial until after the Supreme Court rules on his presidential immunity claims in a separate case.

Judge Juan Merchan also shot down Trump’s bid to use presidential immunity as part of his defense at the trial scheduled to start April 15, saying he waited too long to raise the issue.
