Today is a huge day for the social impact community - the inaugural Anthem Award Winners have been announced. Naomi Osaka, Adam McKay, Mark Ruffalo’s The Solutions Project, Reshma Saujani’s Marshall Plans for Moms, NASA’s Global Climate Change, and The New York Times: 1619 Project!
Launched by The Webby Awards in response to the importance of social good within the national conversation and cultural zeitgeist. The inaugural competition received nearly 2,500 entries from 36 countries worldwide making it the largest social impact award in the world. After months of deliberation and over 10,000 votes by leading changemakers in the Anthem Awards judging academy, the inaugural Anthem Awards winners have been announced! This year’s Anthem Award Winners represent the mission-driven projects and individuals who are creating a huge impact in the world. Winners include companies and people like: Monica Lewinsky, Mark Ruffalo, National Geographic, Nike, Participant Media, Netflix, Sesame Workshop, and more. This year the Anthem Awards are also recognizing Naomi Osaka as the Anthem Athlete of the Year and Adam McKay with the Anthem Entertainer of the Year Award.
