The suspect in Saturday night’s Lunar New Year mass shooting in Southern California, an attack that killed 10 and injured 10 others, was identified after he appeared to have died Sunday from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna named the man as Huu Can Tran, 72. The question of motive remains unclear.
