| As New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie facednational derision forlounging on a state beach closed to the public amid agovernment shutdownhe ordered, the Democratic lawmakers at the center of a standoff over the state budget announced an end to the lockout late Monday night. Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto and Senate President Stephen Sweeney made the deal public in a press conference ahead of planned votes.That followed meetings with executives from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, New Jersey's largest insurance company whose fate is central to the budget standoff that prompted the state shutdown.
