BREAKING NEWS: Consumer Spending Increased Slightly in February, Matching Expectation

Economists had forecast consumer spending rising 0.1 percent last month. Consumer spending accounts for more than two-thirds of U.S. economic activity. Personal income increased 0.2 percent in February. That topped the estimate for a rise of 0.1%.
