BREAKING NEWS: Forecasters upgrade Matthew to Category 5 hurricane, first in Atlantic since 2007

Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center have upgraded Matthew to a Category 5 hurricane, the first in the Atlantic Basin since Hurricane Felix in 2007. Matthew is forecast to remain a powerful hurricane through Sunday, when it is on track to approach Jamaica.
