Ziopharm calls patient death in drug trial ‘an isolated case,’ shares fall

Boston biotech Ziopharm Oncology said this morning that a patient who died 15 days after being administered its experimental drug for an aggressive form of brain cancer is an “isolated incident” and the study remains ongoing.
