Tyler Clancy wins race for HD60

This morning, Tyler Clancy won the special election to replace Rep. Adam Robertson, who stepped down from the legislature in December

Clancy is a police officer for Provo, was recently elected Chairman of the Emerging Leaders Initiative of Utah and the former Executive Director for the Pioneer Park Coalition, working on the complex issues surrounding homelessness throughout the state of Utah.

Clancy says he decided to run for the legislature because he wants to "be a voice for the 'underdog' and people who feel like they’ve been left behind by the current political climate.

Clancy will be sworn in next week as the legislature begins.
