Open Dog Food Containers More Easily

My fingers don't work as good as they once did so I find ways to help with opening things. If you are feeding your dogs these little packages with aluminum lids, then just roll the pencil around the aluminum and you have leverage.

Clear Eyes for Pet Tear Stain Removal

Use Clear Eyes, yes, the eye drops for humans. They have seven (I think) different formulations. Any of them will work. Place a couple of drops on the stain, gently scrub with a soft toothbrush. Leave it on for at least ten minutes then rinse and dry.

Feeding Pets Vegetable Scraps

My tip for pets is to feed them your vegetable scraps. My dogs personally love all kinds of things I would never dream of from carrots, to lettuce and apples just to name a few. A few words of caution, don't feed them onions, garlic, or chocolate. They are not good for them.

Introducing New Kitten to Resident Older Cat

I have an issue with introducing a new 4 month old kitten to my resident cat. The resident cat is 13 years old and she has always been solitary and generally doesn't like other cats. The kitten is very friendly and can be quite playful at times. He is confined to a bedroom with his things. She has the rest of the house with her own stuff. They have met a couple of times, with a lot of hissing.
