British Embassy, DIT and BritCham in Vietnam - UK Export Win - AstraZeneca Vietnam

The British Embassy, DIT and BritCham in Vietnam have provided AstraZeneca Vietnam with tremendous support in securing high-level government engagement and advocating for favorable pharmaceutical law and regulations, playing a vital role in the company’s long-term and sustainable growth.  

With their support, AstraZeneca Vietnam Company Limited successfully obtained the FIE licence for import, export and clinical trials, as well as officially inaugurated in July 2020 as a local entity and signed a landmark distribution partnership with a major local distributor – Phytopharma. As a result, UK export will be boosted.

For 22 years BritCham Vietnam has been organising one of Vietnam's largest and most successful charitable running events.  The Fun Run is one of four charitable events aimed to assist national causes for education, healthcare, wildlife protection and people with disadvantages. Last year, with the generous support of members, sponsors, and friends, BritCham Viietnam raised 2.75 billion VND!  We are incredibly grateful for all the support.

Vulnerable communities in Vietnam have been hit the hardest by COVID-19, partly due to many charitable organisations losing support. This year we are planning to raise even more funds via the HCMC 2020 Charity Fun Run, and with your support we hope to achieve this.  Together we can help improve the lives of some of the least fortunate members of our society.
