Just prior to the weekend, the CFTC filed charges against BitMEX, one of the largest cryptocurrency derivatives exchanges, and Donald Trump tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Both of the events had only very minor impacts on the price of Bitcoin, contrary to the expectations of many. KuCoin CEO Johnny Lyu has claimed that he has found the identities of the hackers who stole an estimated $200 million in assets from KuCoin exchange. According to Lyu, they have "substantial proof" of the identities, and law enforcement has already been involved in the matter. The hack took place on September 26th, with a significant proportion of the assets already recovered. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chairman Jay Clayton stated in a recent webinar that he believes all stocks could become tokenized in the future.
