Top Stories for July 9, 2020 🔥 For the very first time, CENTRE has blacklisted an address holding its USDC stablecoin, in cooperation with law enforcement. The address holds 100,000 USDC. According to information from Circle, blacklisted addresses are blocked from executing transactions through the USDC smart contract, with funds being "permanently unrecoverable". CENTRE is a consortium created by Circle and Coinbase, which issues the USDC stablecoin. USDC is extremely popular, with a circulating supply of over $1 billion. Kyber launched a decentralized autonomous organization on Tuesday, which will allow users to stake their KNC tokens and earn yields via a proportion of trading fees. All Kyber exchange trades are charged 0.2% in fees - 65% of which will go to KNC stakers, 30% going to on-chain liquidity providers, and the remaining 5% going towards KNC burns.
