| Columbia City Council passes vacant building ordinance The owners of vacant buildings within the city of Columbia have 120 days to register their properties with the city’s code enforcement division. The registration is valid for one year and must be renewed annually if the building remains vacant. Pair of streets to lose access to North Main North Main Street access from Lamar Street and Fern Avenue will be closed, beginning today, as part of a road-widening project. The project is also establishing a new traffic pattern at a nearby intersection and improving drainage. |
