MIA Fair is pleased to announce the 3rd Edition of the New Post Photography Award, aimed at promoting the most creative and innovative trends in the world of contemporary photography. The Prize is open to projects by artists with no age or nationality limits and with no thematic constraints. The winners will have the opportunity to exhibit for free during the eleventh edition of MIA Fair (from April 28 to May 1, 2022) at SUPERSTUDIO MAXI in via Moncucco 35, Milan in an exhibition dedicated to the New Post Photography Award III Edition. We are also pleased to announce that for the 2022 edition, some selected winners will have the opportunity to participate in additional exhibitions organized by the following Award Partners: Ragusa Foto Festival Exhibition: a project featured in the New Post Photography Award exhibition will be selected by Steve Bisson and Stefania Paxhia (artistic director and founder of the Ragusa Foto Festival, respectively) to be exhibited at the Ragusa Foto Festival (July-August 2022). This project will be selected in accordance with the theme of the new edition of the festival and the exhibition will be curated by the artistic director of the festival. BACO exhibition: a project present in the exhibition of the “New Post Photography” Award will be selected by Sara Benaglia and Mauro Zanchi (BACO – Base Arte Contemporanea Odierna, a non-profit space based in Bergamo) to exhibit in an exhibition organized by them within 2023. |

In continuity with the last edition, the following Prizes are confirmed: Artist Residency Return2Ithaca: thanks to the partnership with the international project Return2Ithaca (www.return2ithaca.gr/), curated by Nina Kassianou, one of the 30 artists pre-selected by MIA Fair will be selected for an artist residency on the Greek island of Ithaca. Publication of the portfolio in the magazine "Gente di Fotografia", which will be published in conjunction with the eleventh edition of MIA Fair. The artist will be chosen by Franco Carlisi (director of "Gente di Fotografia") among the 30 artists pre-selected by MIA Fair. |
