One was last season due to being in COVID protocol and one was two weeks ago against the Los Angeles Rams after he got poked in the eye the week before. Here’s a story by Saints reporter Luke Johnson on what it was like for Jordan to miss a game. You’ve heard the story about how the Saints coveted Patrick Mahomes in the 2017 draft. The Kansas City Chiefs ended up trading up and jumping ahead of the Saints to select Mahomes, who is now considered arguably the best quarterback in the NFL. Mahomes spoke on a podcast Thursday about how that trade transpired. Also, the Saints released their first injury report leading up to Monday’s pivotal game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
