With our Digital Infrastructure Month coming to a close, today, we have a story illuminating where Bitcoin mining and public energy infrastructure intersect. Bitcoin mining has graduated to an industrial scale over the years. Long gone are the days of a few PCs in the basement. Power plants, paper mills and all kinds of industrial infrastructure are being repurposed for Bitcoin mining. Environmental concerns frequently accompany these transactions.
