Canberra Services Club hotel redevelopment a step closer

The Canberra Services Club is a step closer to redeveloping its Manuka site destroyed by fire 14 years ago. Jasper Lindell reports the government has agreed to remove a concessional lease, opening up the way for a hotel redevelopment after a previous planning minister blocked the move.

Plans for a 25-metre phone tower in the midst of a south Canberra suburb have been met with community outrage. Lucy Arundell reports on the "absolutely ridiculous" plan to place a 25m tower in the middle of Fadden.
