| After earning honors in her high school art classes and a scholarship to Atlanta College of art, Candace attended ACA for two years, then completed her Bachelors of Art degree at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.She then worked at various art studios and agencies during her 20-year career as a graphic artist and art director. She currently works at the Suzanne Haskew Arts Center in Milford, Michigan, and pursues her fine art part time.
Candace has been a member of the Village Fine Arts Association, and other fine arts-related groups, has taken many classes and workshops, has taught classes and juried art exhibitions.Her work has been accepted into many metro area art exhibits, has won awards, and was chosen to be included in a Northlight Books Publication.Her work is also included in many private collections.
Candace loves painting all manner of subjects, but is most interested in figure and portrait, and continues to study in this area. She works primarily in oil paint.
