Tomorrow night: Some clouds at times, but at least humidity levels remain under control. Especially considering it is July! We have perhaps a 20% chance of a pre-dawn shower; but otherwise enjoy the low-to-mid 60s for low temperatures. Confidence: Medium “Side Lincoln Views” by Jarrett Hendrix via our CWG Flickr page A LOOK AHEAD Sunday: Seemingly cloudier than Saturday, but still a very decent, warm day with high temperatures in the low-to-mid 80s. I think humidity comes up just a notch, but it’s still not bad. Breezes should remain light. There is a 25% chance we have to avoid a quick shower or even storm, but it may not even be worth toting around an umbrella, at least as it appears now. Confidence: Medium Sunday night: Mid-60s to near 70 (warmer downtown) looks like our likely temperature regime. Muginess slowly creeps back into the picture, so it may not be best open windows night overall. Skies should have periodic clouds but some stars likely still visible. Confidence: Medium-High Uncertainty on rain potential Independence Day (Monday) depending on the track and timing of a storm system developing in the Midwest, we could be stormy as early as midday Monday. Showers and storms could continue through the evening. However, there is also a chance main area of rain/storms holds off until overnight Monday and then persists into Tuesday. As far as high temperatures, we could halt near 80 (more clouds and rain) or get into the mid-80s (less clouds and rain). Confidence: Low-Medium Tuesday’s forecast is very much dependent on what happens Monday, and that’s up in the air. For now it seems mostly to partly cloudy conditions and a few showers with highs in the 80s is the most likely option. But we’re into educated guess range on this one to be frank. Confidence on a solution should grow soon though. Confidence: Low BEACHCAST N.J. Beaches: High temperatures low-to-mid 80s/low temperatures mid-to-upper 60s. Thunderstorms should end Friday night, clear Saturday, and a few clouds on Sunday. Increasing clouds more likely–with chance of late day rain and thunderstorms–on Monday. Water temps upper 60s. Del./Md. Beaches: High temperatures low-to-mid 80s/low temperatures near 70. Thunderstorms end Friday night, with a partly sunny Saturday/Sunday. Thunderstorms possible late Monday (stay tuned). Water temps lower 70s. Va./N.C. Beaches: High temperatures in the mid-to-upper 80s/low temperatures lower 70s. Thunderstorms end Friday night, some clouds Saturday.
