All the while, we’ve been waiting for some classic Mid-Atlantic fall weather — e.g., sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Well, that stretch is here. It’s about perfect for outdoor revelry today and at least into next week. Today (Saturday): Parks, trails and sidewalks are sure to be crowded as it’s going to be much too nice to be indoors. It’s a crisp start, but as soon as the sun goes to work, there’s no complaining allowed. Finding many clouds may be difficult, and quite sunny skies help temperatures rise mainly into the mid-60s to around 70. Winds swing around toward the south as the day goes, blowing around 5 to 10 mph. Confidence: High Tonight: It’s a windows-open kind of evening, and we don’t end up as chilly as recent nights. Clear skies do release the day’s warmth fairly quickly, though. Lows end up in the mid-40s to the mid-50s. Coolest in the suburbs north and west, and warmest in the city, as usual. Confidence: High |
