FORECAST IN DETAIL Well it was nice while it lasted, but you may have noticed our weather is a wee bit different than the past few days. We’re actually pretty close to normal today, but it sure feels chilly compared to the 70s, especially with a breeze. Spring fever does make a comeback heading into midweek, though we may have to dodge some raindrops along the way. Today (Sunday): Hope you didn’t put those jackets away quite yet! We’re down around 25-30 degrees from yesterday’s pre-storm mid-70s. Or, in other words, about normal for this time of year. Highs reach the mid-40s to near 50 with partly sunny skies. And you’ll notice the wind, gusting out of the northwest at 20-30 mph. Confidence: High Tonight: Winds become light this evening and through the overnight as high pressure moves overhead. And with partly cloudy skies, evening temperatures should fall quickly through the 40s into the 30s. Our outer suburbs likely see overnight lows all the way down into the mid-to-upper 20s, while areas closer to and inside the Beltway bottom in the low-to-mid 30s. Confidence: High |
