High temperatures pull into the upper 80s and dew points reach the mid-60s — not oppressive, but it could be better. A few clouds pass through but the chance of rain is minimal as high pressure hangs on for one more day. Confidence: Medium-high Tomorrow night: Overnight lows drop back into the upper 60s and low 70s. Skies are partly cloudy. Confidence: Medium-high A LOOK AHEAD A chance of showers and afternoon thunderstorms begins Wednesday and continues Thursday and Friday. A warm front lifts north through the region on Wednesday, which means higher tempreatures and dew points through the rest of the workweek. Highs climb into the 90s, and humidity becomes significant again as dew points hit the dreaded 70-degree mark. Confidence: Medium The weekend could turn out to be pretty good, assuming the cold front passes through on Friday. We’re still not confident in the timing or the strength of that front, but when it arrives it will bring drier, less-humid air with it. Highs could still hit 90 but it’s not as muggy.
