FORECAST IN DETAIL The good news is it looks like the upper 90s to low 100s are behind us for the time being. And by Friday and the weekend, we’re talking highs in the more typical upper 80s to low 90s. But for today and tomorrow, we still will be dealing with the low-to-mid 90s and plenty of humidity, not to mention a daily storm chance through the weekend. Today (Wednesday): Our hot and humid streak continues today, though with temperatures trimmed back just a bit from yesterday, with highs reaching the low-to-mid 90s. Much of the day should be dry, but a few scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly midafternoon into evening. Otherwise we’re partly cloudy and still quite humid (dew points in the upper 60s to low 70s) with light winds. Confidence: Medium-High Tonight: A few scattered showers and thunderstorms remain possible through the night. With very light or even calm winds, the air stays stale and muggy as lows settle in the 70s. Confidence: Medium-High |
