Following the disappointment of dropping out of the GC fight yesterday due to a crash late in the stage, Casper van Uden and Development Team DSM bounced back perfectly on stage 4 of the Tour de Bretagne to take the win. Van Uden rounded out a solid team display on the day to cross the line first in a tight sprint right to the line, taking the lead in the points classification in the process.
The stage featured an early break of five riders which spent much of the day up the road being controlled by the peloton, including Development Team DSM who shared the pacing duties with one eye on a fast finish. With 15 kilometres to go the race was all back together and through controlling the race and following the attacks they were able to set van Uden up for the finish, which he delivered on.
