Faced with tough conditions and tricky terrain, Development Team DSM rode perfectly to set up Casper van Uden who took the win in a sprint from the late attacking group at Ronde van de Achterhoek. Riding well as a unit throughout the day, the team navigated the treacherous gravel sections, covering any dangerous attacks before Van Uden perfectly infiltrated the 13 rider group in the finale. Biding his time well in the tactical finale, Van Uden made it into the reduced five rider group, before unleashing a powerful sprint to take the race win in Varsseveld.
