Good afternoon,
It's been a while since the morning news agenda has been so thoroughly dominated by a traffic story but thousands of drivers have been stuck in queues following an accident in Penwortham.
One person was injured in the crash which led to the closure of the Guild Way Flyover.
There is delight in Garstang after news the swimming pool will be kept open after all but it comes with a warning - use it or lose it.
Prompting a nostalgic memory for many is news Camelot theme park, closed in 212, is finally being demolished. We have documented the story in pictures as the bulldozers moved in this week.
And congratulations are in order for a world record holding Preston teenager, awarded the British Citizen Youth Award (BCyA), and will present to the United Nations tomorrow.
