Cavs on national TV once: The NBA released its regular season schedule for 2019-20 on Monday. The Cavaliers will start the season in Orlando on Oct. 23, and appear on national television just once. Chris Fedor recapped all the highlights of the schedule, including when they will host LeBron James and the Lakers again.

Preseason schedule released: The Cavaliers will play four exhibition games in preparation for the 2019-20 season, writes Fedor. The schedule, which was released Thursday, features two games at renovated Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, including the opener on Oct. 7. The Cavaliers begin the exhibition season at home against San Lorenzo de Almagro of Argentina’s Liga Nacional de Básquet.

Cavs add Thornwell: The Cavaliers agreed to a non-guaranteed contract with free agent shooting guard Sindarius Thornwell, writes Fedor. Thornwell, 24, will sign a one-year deal and compete for one of the final roster spots at training camp.
