Celebrate Agriculture Week! National Ag Week — March 18-24 — is a time to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture and to learn more about where the food on your table comes from and who grows it. We're joining Kentucky State University’s Land Grant Program for a week of activities for children, teens, and families that promote the importance of agriculture in Kentucky and around the world. This year, we are inviting everyone to read Tender at the Bone, a memoir by Ruth Reichl, former Editor in Chief of Gourmet magazine and restaurant critic of both the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times." Tender at the Bone is the story of a life determined, enhanced, and defined in equal measure by unforgettable people, the love of tales well told, and a passion for food." We hope you'll enjoy it! |
