12th ANNUAL SKATE THE COAST Los Angeles OCT 12
Come out to the 12th Annual Skate the Coast Fundraiser, a 19-mile skate/bike/roll that runs from Santa Monica to Redondo Beach, with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop. All ages are invited to come out, have fun and be active while raising awareness and funds for Boarding For Breast Cancer’s (B4BC) Education, Prevention and Survivorship Programs. Longboard, bike, blade, or rollerskate with B4BC on Saturday, October 12th, 2019.

OCTOBER ART AUCTIONS DENVER. SEATTLE. PORTLAND. HERMOSA. OCT 1 – 31 Action Sports retailer evo will be hosting their 3rd Annual Art and Awareness Auction at their 3 store locations in Denver, Seattle and Portland, respectively. Each evo in-store art gallery will display 15+ pieces of art from prominent action sports artists as Mark Kowalchuk, Tina Basich Haller, Dibi and Greyson Fletcher, Steve Caballero, Chad Muska, Evan Hecox and more. We will be auctioning off in our online gallery. Gallery opening events are Oct 1, Denver/ Oct 9, Seattle/ Oct 10, Portland. Visit evo Gallery/Auction to start bidding. Bids accepted until midnight October 31. We are excited to have Globe Shoes hosting their first ever Art Auction at their Flagship Globe Cabin store in Hermosa Beach. Opening night event is Oct 3. B4BC is honored to be the beneficiary of Absinthe Film’s Isle of Snow Movie Premiere Tour again this Fall. Absinthe will be donating a portion of ticket sales from each event to Boarding for Breast Cancer. Our Education outreach booth will be and we will be onsite at several of the events. CHASING SUNSHINE WELLNESS DAY Santa Monica OCT 19
We are so excited to announce our first ever Chasing Sunshine Wellness Day! The one-day event is designed to host 50 young survivors and thrivers on their path to wellness; thereby supporting five times more women than our individual weekend Retreats can accommodate. We hope to duplicate this one-day event in multiple markets in 2020.
CHASING SUNSHINE OCEAN WELLNESS RETREAT Encinitas OCT 20-24 Megs and her team are hosting our 6th Annual Ocean Retreat in Encinitas. We have 14 women attending this retreat where the ladies will be enjoying 4 days of surfing, yoga, acupuncture, meditation, healing foods and connection.
