The duchess has achieved A LOT in 10 years.
| | As we near the end of the year (and decade!) we're taking a look back at all the things we're grateful for. Naturally, one of those things is the Royal Family, and all the incredible moments they have shared with us over the past few years.
And, arguably, one of the most fascinating people to have come out of the Royal Family the past couple years is Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. (And if you don't agree, we would love to hear your opinions!)
In her short time as a royal, the duchess has already achieved so much, from co-creating a cookbook to help a community in need, to helping underprivileged and unemployed women dress for job interviews, to guest-editing the September issue of British Vogue.
But even before she became a member of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle was breaking down barriers and a famous name in her own right.
So, to celebrate the duchess, we take a look at her best moments of the decade. Trust us, it was hard to pick a select few out of all the wonderful things she has done, so if you feel there are any glaring omissions, please let us know!
Take care, royal watchers!

| | | | | | Where to start? The Duchess of Sussex has accomplished a lot as a member of the Royal Family, but even when she was "just" an actress (on a popular TV show) she was already fighting for women's rights.

| | | | | | | | | | | Kate Middleton was once a server?
Before she became the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate held a food server job while she was a student at University of St. Andrews, Scotland, which is where she met Prince William.
And would you believe that Kate was "terrible" at it? Her words, not ours!
The duchess was chatting about her former non-royal life with Mary Berry during the BBC special "A Berry Royal Christmas." As she was helping to make nonalcoholic drinks to serve to people at a dry bar in Liverpool, she recalled her old job as a server.
“It reminded me of my university days when I did a bit of waitressing,” Kate told Berry, who asked if she was any good at it.
“No ― I was terrible,” the duchess replied.
Same, Kate. SAME.
