For so many American Jews, celebrating Yiddishkeit means experiencing first-hand our rich Jewish heritage. At the Forverts, we bring you fun, inspiring and informative Yiddish content daily, from Zoom events like “What was Yiddish summer camp really like?” to our Yiddish comedy hour with Rabbi Barry Schechter. And what would Yiddishkeit be without the food? We continue producing subtitled Yiddish cooking shows, like the one for Passover where we made delicious Southern-style pecan macaroons (using only three ingredients!). We’re publishing the celebratory Yiddish content that you won’t find anywhere else. Now, will you take the next step and donate to the Forverts today?

Earlier this month, the Forverts partnered with the University of Pittsburgh's Hillman Library to display images from 100 years of Forverts front pages. Our Yiddish archive includes so much richness and history — from politics to family life, world events to sports scores. The collection captures the highs and lows of the Jewish American story. But the Forverts is so much more than an archive. In fact, it’s a daily tribute to the joy of modern Yiddish. When you donate to the Forverts, you’re investing in the preservation and expansion of this rich and exciting language. Celebrate the ongoing joy of Yiddish culture today.
