| | | Edition 3 | 2023 | | Dear John Do, | | Around ten million tons of plastic waste or a truckload of plastic per minute end up in world's oceans every year, according to the German Association for the Environment and Nature Conservation (Bund für Umwelt- und Naturschutz Deutschland e. V., BUND). The Hamburg-based impact startup, Wildplastic, is keen to save and recycle resources by collecting "wild" plastic and returning it to the recycling loop. In our latest Future Hamburg Talk, Christian Siegmund, CEO of Wildplastic, talks about their quest , the start-up’s special business form and takes a look at the future.
