Canberra's best dedicated public sector coverage is moving to a new weekly tempo each Monday
Dear Valued Reader, The Public Sector Informant has long been one of The Canberra Times’ premier brands, an authoritative voice in this public service city. From next week we’re relaunching PSI as a weekly section in print and online, providing even more responsive coverage of the Australian public service. To suit the fast tempo of the modern bureaucracy, the new PSI section will be published on Mondays beginning August 29. It will feature the Public Eye column written by public service reporters Sarah Basford Canales and Doug Dingwall, with the help of their federal parliamentary reporting team colleagues. Public Eye aims to be an essential read each week for the public servant keen to be in the know. It’ll feature tips, rumours and the inside stories department bosses would rather keep out of the public eye. We’ll be looking to our readers to help us by sending tidbits to ps@canberratimes.com.au or posting anonymously through the forms on our website. And, as has been the hallmark of PSI for many years, the new edition will feature Canberra’s best commentary on the public service from our stable of expert contributors. To keep informed about the public service and its critical role in our city and beyond, don’t miss The Canberra Times next Monday. Thank you for your ongoing support. John-Paul Moloney Managing editor
