Good evening everyone,

There were several key points from today's Scottish Government briefing, as lockdown measures continue to be relaxed across Scotland.

The main takeaways from today's update are:

  • Face masks will be compulsory in shops from next week
  • Exemptions to the two-metre distancing rule will be introduced for some premises
  • Children under 12 will no longer need to physically distance from other households outdoors from tomorrow
  • The five-mile travel restriction for leisure will be lifted from Friday for everyone barring those in the 'cluster' affected areas in Dumfries and Galloway
