New measures from the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act introduced on 4 March The first measures under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act came into force on Monday 4 March 2024. Companies House has new and enhanced powers to improve the quality and reliability of its data and tackle misuse of the companies register. Over time, the measures will lead to improved transparency and more accurate and trusted information on our registers. Watch a video of the story so far.
