| How many times can one actor physically transform for a role in her career? According to Charlize Theron's resumé, the answer does not exist.
The South African-born beauty made her movie debut with an uncredited part in the 1995 horror classic, Children of the Corn III.
"I was one of the 500 kids running through a field. I actually had my own murder scene in it," Theron told Oprah Winfrey in a 2005 interview."I got dragged into the earth, kicking and screaming."
But it was playing a hitman's girlfriend in the 1996 noir drama 2 Days in the Valley that kickstarted what would become a multi-award-winning career for the blonde bombshell from Benoni.
"In South Africa, it's a much harder life because survival is so at the core of everything. It's farm life," Theron told Winfrey.
Over her 26-year film career, the 47-year-old has played everything from a determined detective, a post-apocalyptic road warrior, a serial killer and a news anchor, to an evil fairy-tale queen and an immortal mercenary.
