Law.com International launches the latest ranking of the top 30 law firms in London, irrespective of where they are headquartered.

The likes of CMS and Hogan Lovells rank highly in the inaugural rankings, but firms told Law.com International that while they see the EU's market as stable it is also challenging and not necessarily their current top source of global growth.

The majority of the 50 largest law firms in the region are based in mainland China.

Law.com International has spent months researching the largest firms in the region, with the data showing most firms have grown their headcounts over the last year on the back of a strong local market.

ENS remains dominant, while two international firms have dropped out of the top 30 entirely.

Brazilian law firms along with global firms like Baker McKenzie and Spain’s ECIJA led the inaugural rankings in a region that has been prioritized for growth by numerous international players.

More than half of the top 45 Chinese law firms saw a decline in revenue.
