Chris Sale was already a big Draft Day risk even before we learned he wouldn't be on the Opening Day roster due to pnuemonia. He became an even bigger risk when we found out he was dealing with an elbow issue earlier this week, and we got some clarity on the injury Thursday.

EAnd, while it wasn't the worst-case scenario, it's still not exactly great news. I broke down what it means for his draft value, but first you've got to check out Scott White's new idea for how to handle tiers: Focusing on skills, not positions. Positional scarcity is dead (long live positional scarcity!), and so it's more vital to know which skills are most scarce on Draft Day and when you have to target them.

Plus, I've gone through the latest news from around spring training, highlighting what matters most as you sort through the noise. Plus, don't forget to join the Fantasy Baseball Today Facebook group and join in on the conversation with Scott, Adam Aizer, and I.

With more clarity on Chris Sale's ailment, Chris Towers checks in on how to value him in Drafts.
Spring training can mean so much or so little. Here's a guide to the most important developments to monitor this spring.
